Obituary of Jesus Hernandez

Life Legacy Jesus J. Hernandez, 83, passed away on Thursday January 4th, 2018 at his home in Salinas California. Jesus was born on July 18, 1934 to Rosalia Fernandez and Francisco Hernandez in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico. Jesus was a loyal hard working man and was known in Salinas as “Joe the Tire Man” in his previous business JTS; Joe’s Tire Service. Jesus was also a member of the Salinas Moose Lodge. He also served in the Army as a Private Infantry at former Fort Ord California. He will forever be remembered by his wife of 32 years, Esperanza Hernandez, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 10am at St. Mary of the Nativty Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
