Obituary of Donald Andreotti
Don passed away at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Monterey County. He was born on April 14, 1935 in Salinas to Peter and Martha Andreotti and was raised in the Rico-Rossi farming area. He graduated from Salinas Union High School in 1953, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When he returned from the Army; he worked at various agricultural mechanical positions. Before retiring, he worked for Valley Electric Motor Service, in Gonzales. In retirement, he worked for Nielson Trailer Park in Soledad as a grounds keeper. Before Don's illness, he liked to go fishing and hunting. He loved the Gold Country. Don was an individual person but was liked by all that knew him, and he will be missed. Don's family would like to thank his friend and health care giver, Jim Reeves and his extended family at Nielson Trailer Park.
