Rios of Salinas parents Isayas Vasquez, Sr of Mexicali Bernardina Mendez of Soledad stepfather Juan Mendez of Soledad brothers Alfred Vasquez of Soledad Isaias "Bebe" Vasquez of Salinas George Vasquez of Watsonville sisters Leticia Vasquez of Soledad Lorena Vasquez of Soledad brother-in-law Alfonso Valdez of Soledad sisters-in-law Kelly Sanchez of Las Vegas Norma Conley of Salinas very close friend and comadre, Norma Celso great nieces Marayah Inzunza Mikayla Inzunza Numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Joe was previously employed as a postal clerk for the city of Salinas, and most rercently worked at the Food Bank of Monterey County. Joe loved listening to all types of music, enjoyed watching WWE wrestling with his son and grandson, the Halloween holiday, and eating sweets -- but only with a cup of milk. He loved camping, BBQing, and boating at the lake with his friends and family. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan. A hobby of his included collecting nutcrackers. He was a member of the Mini Creations Truck Club. He always thought about others before himself and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Joe will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
