Obituary of Ken Huber

Ken Huber, 71, died peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2007, doing what he loved most, fishing with his son, Kevin at Wishon Lake. Ken served his country the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Upon leaving the Navy, he returned to Salinas, where he met and married, Bobbie, his wife of 47 years. Ken was a business owner in Salinas for 17 years and owned Ken & Son Produce in Castroville for 19 years. Even though he tried to retire; he had the produce business in his blood and kept in touch with his cronies. He loved going to the Palace in Lemore, but his favorite sport was going fishing in the Sierra's with his son. He was a devoted husband and loving father & grandfather. He was respected and loved by all who knew him. Ken is preceeded in death by his parents Red & Mollie Huber brother Mike sister Shirley Fife He is survived by his Wife Bobbie Huber Son Kevin Daughter Kimberley grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Kaitlyn & Zachary Huber and James & Kayla Graham sister Daisy Armento along with numerous nieces & nephews
