Obituary of Fernando Novelo

Fernando Romero Novelo, 73 of Gonzales, California, went to meet his Saviour after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 He was born in Oxkutzcab, Yucatan, Mexico to the late Espiridion Novelo and Catalina Romero. He is preceded in death by his grandsons, Martin Camacho, Jr. and Daniel Negron. He enjoyed his occupation in agriculture, loved repairing cars, hunting, fishing and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Elisa Morales of Gonzales; his daughters Maria Negron of Soledad, Fausta Pinedo of Soledad, Nora Martinez of Gonzales, Norma Nichols of Hollister, Neyfy Fernandez of Gonzales; and son Abraham Novelo of Soledad. He had 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. To our Father and Grandfather; We will miss your sense of humor and we will always admire how proud you made us feel about our Mayan Culture.
