Obituary of Honorato Aguilar

Honorato L. Aguila, 84, resident of Salinas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his home following a lengthy illness. He's gone to the garden of the Kingsom of the Almighty to join his wife, his parents, brothers, and sister. Born in the little town of San Clemente, Tarlac, Philippines, on January 22, 1928, he was the youngest of the family of six siblings. Honorato was employed as an Elementary Agriculturist Teacher, official designation as food production coordinator for the District of Camling-West and San Clemente, Tarlac, Philippines. In 1977, he transferred to the Department of Agriculture as a Farm Management Technologist II, designated as Municipal Development Cooperative Officer of San Clemente, Tarlac, Philippines. In 1984, he resigned from the Department of Agriculture, because that was the time he and his wife migrated to Salinas, CA. He was employed at Family Bargain Center now known as Factory 2U as Assistant Stockroom Manager, and worked forthis company intil his retirement in 1994. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilia and is survived by their three children, Honorato Jr. and Charito Aguilar of the Philippines, Merle and Mark Agustin of Salinas, Melchor and Sonia Aguila of Salinas. His Grandchilren, Karla Antonette, Kathryn April, Kristan Ira, Clarence Ann, Vanessa Mae, Vina Nicole, Merlissa Ann, and Venerando V. Join us in Celebration of Honorato's life. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 1-9 PM with a Rosary recital at 5:30 PM, followed by a Chapel Blessing and Family Service all at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. 405 N. Sanborn Rd. 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial services will be held in his hometown, San Clemente, in Tarlac, Philippines.
