Obituary of Leonore Dela Cruz Villareal

Leonore D. Villareal, born on June 28, 1973 passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018 at 3:34 AM Leonore was a lifelong resident of Salinas, Ca. She worked as a Patient Coordinator and enjoyed simple pleasures such as going to the beach, shopping, she loved animals, and her favorite color was red. Leonore is survived by her husband Eddie Villareal, her parents Frank and Alicia De La Cruz, her sisters Laura, Sandy and Sophie; her daughter Tiana Barron, her son Adam Villareal, and her grand daughter Zyah Barron. Per her request cremation will take place following a memorial ceremony on June 30, 2018 at 1 PM at Healeys Mortuary and Crematory. Her beautiful smile and shining personality will never be forgotten and will always be missed. 

A golden heart stopped beating,

It broke our hearts to see you go,
God only takes the best

Well may be that is true,
But we never wanted memories,
We only wanted you,

Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.

We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore,
We did our duty to the end,
‘Til we could do no more.

In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.

Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss you,
In our home that is lonely today.
