Obituary of Frank D. Gattis

Frank D. Gattis, 73, a lifetime resident of Salinas, California, passed away September 5, 2018 after heart complications.

Frank was born and raised in Salinas and was a 1963 graduate of Salinas High School. He married his high school sweetheart, LeeAnna Twiggs in 1965. He began selling insurance and worked for Frank B. Hall and Barlocker Insurance Services until his retirement in 2007. In retirement, he became an avid golfer, car enthusiast and active grandfather. He was a member of Elks Lodge #614 , the Native Sons of the Golden West and The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch. 

Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, LeeAnna, his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jack McBride, his son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Rachel Gattis, his brother, Jerry Gattis of Jamestown, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 3:30pm at The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch.

In lieu of flowers, the family request charitible donations be made to the SVMH Heart Center or a charity of their choice.
