Obituary of John "Big John" Campas Martinez

John "Big John"  Campas Martinez, 75, native and lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away on September 24, 2018 in Salinas. He was born on November 11, 1942. John previously worked in refrigeration for many years. Big John was loved by his entire family. He was a quiet soul, with a unique and loving personality and was an especially  great  Uncle.

John is survived by,

sisters, Lydia  Aguas and Elizabeth Anaya 

brother, Elijah (Rosie) Martinez 

sister-in-laws, Abby and Sally Martinez

along with numerous nieces, nephews, God son, Jose Luis Munoz and other loving family and frends.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Martine and Lupe Martinez, brothers, Raul, Raymond, Lawrence and Joe Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA  93905.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 11am at the Healey Mortuary Chapel.

Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA  93901.
