Obituary of Miguel F. Almanza Sr.

Miguel F. Almanza Sr., 74, longtime resident of Castroville, passed away on October 3, 2018 in Salinas. He was born on July 13, 1944 in Guanajuato, Mexico. Miguel previously worked in a nursery for over 20 years.

Miguel is survived by,

his wife, Emma Almanza

daughters, Gema (Jesus) Nieto, Veronica Almanza, Bernice (Ramon) Gil, Maricela (David) Simon, Elizabeth Almanza and Diana Almanza.

sons, Francisco (Olivia) Almanza, Miguel (Rosa) Almanza and Cesar Almanza 

brothers, Pablo and Antoniio Almanza

sisters, Esperanza and Luz Almanza

23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

He is preceded in death by mother, Maria Soledad Almanza and his sister, Antonia Ayala.

Visitation will be held at the family residence on Monday, October 8, 2018. Please contact the family.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 10am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church 11140 Preston St. Castroville, CA  95012.

Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA  93907.
