Obituary of Juanita Mesa Avelino

Juanita M. Avelino, 87, was born on May 4, 1931 in Raymondville, TX.  She came to work in Salinas, CA, in 1961 and loved the cool breeze of the coast so much that she decided to never leave.  She was a resident of Salinas, CA for 57 years.

She loved gardening, spending time with her family and her Tejano Music.

On November 4, 2018, God answered her prayers and entered her into the Gates of Heaven.

She was proceeded by her eldest son, Oscar M. Flores.  She is survived by two children, Martin and Norma Fuentes, nine grandchildren and many great-grand children.
