Obituary of John Manuel Rodriguez

John Rodriquez, age 60,  known as "Johnny"  by his family, passed away on Monday, Nov 12, 2018 at the Los Banos Nursing Home where he had been cared for since October following his pancreatic cancer diagnosis in September, 2018.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Gustavo, Adela, Bertha, Tony, Sandra, Mini & his only son; John Jr.   Johnny was born on May 23, 1958.  He lived most of his life in Salinas until he left to help our mother run a neighborhood grocery store in Mexico. He remained there several years until the store was sold. When he returned, he moved in with our brother Tony and together they lived as bachelors in Los Banos for 17 years.

Johnny will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Chapel Blessing and Rosary will be held on Monday Nov. 26, 2018 at 6pm at Healey Mortuary, 405 North Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA.  Refreshements following service.

Burial and Committal will be on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 10 am at Queen of Heavens Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA.
