Obituary of Geraldine Rapacon

Geraldine Gabriel Rapacon, 71, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer on November 27, 2018. He was born n the Philippines December 24, 1946 and immigrated to the United States in 1971, in pursuit of a better life for his family.

Geraldine is survived by his wife, Gail Caguimbal-Rapacon. His siblings, all in the Philippines; Mila Salvador, Norma Racela, Sonny Rapacon, Sixto Rapacon Jr. and Carol Rapacon. His children; Rafaela Coakley, Marisa Rapacon (Charlie Zarza), Liza Rapacon-Brotton (Mike Hoffmann), Gerry Rapacon, Avelino Fernandez Jr. (Lyvon), Andy Fernandez and Angela Fernandez-Galope (Gener). His grandchildren; Lauren, Sydney, Chris, Kiana, Taylor, Nick, Alexis, Avelino III, Amara, Amalie, Desiree, Anyssa, Avery, Raelani, Angelina, Andrew, Abner and Aleena. His great-grandson, Kirk, also survives.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 4-9pm and also on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 6pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA  93905.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 1pm at Madonna del Sasso Church 320 E. Laurel Dr. Salinas, CA  93906.

Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA  93901.
