Obituary of Reginaldo Noel

Reginaldo “Reggie” Noel 49, passed away in his sleep at home on Monday, January 28, 2019 from complications due to diabetes.  Beloved son of Maria and Stephen Schweitzer of Salinas, Ca.  Big Brother “Kuya” to Jennifer (Brian) Jackson and Jeffrey (Karen) Schweitzer.  Loving Tito to nieces Danielle, Alexus, Madisyn, Jessica and to nephews Joshua, Brian and Jeffrey. 

Reggie was a graduate of North Salinas High School Class of 1988 where he played on the tennis team.  After high school he returned to NSHS and coached the girls and boys tennis teams and the girls soccer team. 

Reggie’s favorite past times included baking, paint balling, playing two hand touch football with his siblings outside of his parents’ home and collecting Star Wars collectibles and Martial Arts weaponry.  He loved his 49ers no matter the record; a true fan!  He bowled at Valley Center on the family bowling team and enjoyed spending time with his family. 

He would help family and friends during their time of need.  He always knew the right thing to say to make you smile, and would be first to lend a helping hand.

Over the years Reggie worked at Kit Cameras, Bay Photo, Pager Outlet, Care Home Medical, Advanta Care, Air Gas and was a EMT for AMR where he was a recipient of a life saving pin.

Professionally Reggie dreamed to become a nurse and completed an AA degree at Heald College; however, due to kidney failure, after graduation he started dialysis and was never able to recover.

He met a lot of great people over the years and cherished every friendship he made. 

We will greatly miss this NSYNC loving, Filipino Cowboy, Baker, Yoda Fan with the BIGGEST HEART.

Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Healey Mortuary at 405 N. Sanborn Road Salinas, CA 93905.  This will be an informal gathering with family and friends with no scheduled presentations or speeches.  If you’d like to share your memories with the group, an open mic will be available, but otherwise, come and personally share your memories and pay your respect however you feel comfortable, with the family.  If you’d like to contribute a photograph for the slideshow, please email Jennifer at miss_schweitzer@hotmail.com . Limited light refreshments and snacks will be available.
