Obituary of Sylvester Williams

Sylvester Williams, 78, of Salinas, passed away on February 14, 2019 in Salinas. He was born on October 30, 1940 im Lakeland, Georgia. Sylvester had proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked as an MP at the Naval Post Graduate School for many years. Sylvester was also an avid bowler and was a hugh Golden State Warriors fan. 

Sylvester is survived by,

his daughter, Yvonne Osborn

sons, Marvin Jones

sister, Hazel Taylor

brothers, Enoch and Alfonso Williams

four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Williams.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA  93905.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at the Healey Mortuary Chapel.

Burial to follow on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 W. McCabe Rd Santa Nella, CA  95322.
