Obituary of Jose Julian Flores

Julian Flores, unexpectedly passed away during his morning walk on December 18, 2019. He was born in Salinas to Jose and Mercedes Flores and lived there until his death.

He owned Flores Bookkeeping and Tax Services for over 35 years. His clients were more than an income, they were friends.

He cherished spending time with family and friends and supported his wife in all her endeavors.

He was a proud member of the Lions Club and had a high regard for the City of Hope and the work that was done regarding cancer research.

He is survived by his wife Minnie of 55 years, daughters Julie, Veronica, Rebecca (Melvin), Denise, granddaughters Janessa (Aquamé), Janeeva, Mikailah and sister Lupe Rubio.

Schedule:

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 pm on Friday, December 27^th at Healey’s Mortuary.

Rosary will be recited Friday at 6 pm at the mortuary.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, December 28^th at Madonna Del Sasso; immediately following will be a Celebration of Life.

Private Burial will be held on Monday, December 30^th.

In lieu of flowers, Julian requested memorial contributions be made to the City of Hope or the American Cancer Society. A donation box will be available at the Celebration of Life.
