Obituary of Flora Galinato

Flora Galinato passed away a day before her 87th birthday on May 23, 2020.  She was born on May 24, 1933 in the Philippines.  She came to California in 1970 and has lived in Castroville for most of those years. Flora enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being a homemaker for her family.  She retired from Simplot Company in Salinas after more than 25 years.  

She is survived by her husband, Irineo Galinato; children, Angelito Galinato, Florenio Galinato, and Lolita Agpaoa; grandchildren, A.J. Galinato, Jason Agpaoa, Kevin Agpaoa, Heather Galinato, Adam Galinato, Ritchel Galinato, as well as many other family and friends.

Her viewing will take place at Healey Mortuary on Wed. June 3rd from 10am-12pm at which time she will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Due to state and county restrictions all services are limited to 10 people only.  Please be respectful of the family and know you may have to wait in your car if the maximum of 10 people is already visiting.
