Obituary of Angelina Maravilla
Angelina Maravilla Moreno of Salinas passed on peacefully to the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by loved ones on July 13, 2020. She was 87 years old. Angelina was born in El Tepehuaje Michoacan on January 2, 1933. She came to Salinas, California in 1980 where she worked for Chular Labor Company for 25 years. Angelina was a kind, gentle, and caring person with a very strong work ethic. Although she loved being surrounded by family, friends, crocheting, and watching her novelas, Angelina was a devout Catholic. She prayed the Rosary once a day, sometimes twice if not more. She attended mass every Sunday. Angelina is survived by her daughter Guadalupe Perez Maravilla of Salinas, sister Eva Navarro of Los Angeles, grandchildren Marisela Perez Mendoza (Victor), JesusPerez (Mary) of Manteca, Ca., Paco Perez (Darlene) of Lincoln, Ca., Javier Perez of Salinas, Armando Perez (Julie) of Salinas, 15 Great Grand Children, and 4 Great GreatGrand Children. Angelina was preceded in death by her husband Francisco (Kiko) Maravilla Rivas and son in law Jesus (el abujillo) Perez Perez.
Viewing will take place at Healey Mortuary Chapel on Monday, July 20th from 1 pm to 9 pm with the Rosary at 7 pm. Mass will take place on Tuesday, July 21st at 10 am at Saint Mary’s of the Nativity followed by the burial at Garden of Memories.
***Please keep in mind that do to COVID-19, restrictions will take place during the viewing, rosary, and mass. Only 10 people will be allowed at one time. Masks are mandatory as well as distancing and NO hugging.
