Julita Sanchez Mendoza was born July 21st, 1951 in the City of Manilla, Philippines. She was the oldest of 9 children, her father was a successful businessman and her mother helped run the family businesses while taking care of the family. Juliet being the oldest of 9 children shared in the responsibility of raising her brothers and sisters. She studied college and finished with a Bachelor's of Science in Commerce at Far Eastern University. While working at one of the family businesses Julita met the love her life Pete Osoteo while he was delivering Coca Cola to her father's shop. Pete left to America in 1976 to take a chance at a better life and returned a year later to marry Julita. She waited till 1980 for Pete to get settled  in America so she could come be with her love. They settled in a small agricultural town named Salinas, California which she grew to love. Her first job in America was as a Clerk and within 15 years was promoted to Office Manager at one of the oldest established buisnesses in the Salinas Valley, Farmers Mercantile. In November 1980 she gave birth to her first son Michael and in 1983 came the birth of her second son Mark James. She was an amazing mother that always put her children first and gave so much love and care. 
After leaving Farmers Mercantile she decided it was time for a different career path and that is when she found an opening as an Accountant at the County of Monterey Auditor-Controller Department. She worked her way up to Accounting Analyst and after 19 years of hard work she retired. She was one of the hardest workers and always gave 110 percent and was a perfectionist in every way. Julita enjoyed traveling to Europe seeing England, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and many other nations. Julita's hobbies include cooking and baking which she made with love and was so delicious anyone who was lucky enough to try her food knows how good of a cook she was. Julita's other hobbies were listening to oldies music and shopping the deals at Macy's. She also enjoyed crochet and knitting. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren especially her granddaughter Miabella whom she called "My world" they had such a beautiful bond. Julita Osoteo will be survived through her husband Pete Osoteo, sons Michael and Mark, her grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.
