Obituary of Restituta Naldoza

Restituta Naldoza passed away on February 13th. She was 82 years old. Born in Guindulman Municipality in Bohol, Philippines to parents Hilario and Claudia Jandayan.

Our father, Eladio Dajolos Naldoza, served in the Filipino Regiment of the U.S. Army during WWII.  After being honorably discharged he toiled in the fields of Salinas.  When he decided it was time to get married, he went back to Bohol and married our mother.  After returning to Salinas, she worked in the fields and packing sheds of Salinas, while studying to be a registered nurse.  She had a successful nursing career.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Eladio  (3/11/02) and her firstborn daughter Kathryn Ann Gidcumb (3/7/05). She is survived by her daughters Elaine Anthony (Robert) of Bakersfield and Rosemarie Conery (Tom) of San Diego; and by her grandchildren Maria Owens, Travis Anthony, Nick Harris, Clint Anthony, Brian Gidcumb, Garrett Anthony & Stephanie Gidcumb; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Special gratitude to her devoted brother and his wife Sabas and Ruby Jandayan who had taken care of our mother in her later years. A limited visitation will be held on March 2nd at Healy Mortuary Chapel from 1-5pm; and Mass at Madonna Del Sasso on March 3rd at 10am with gravesite burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
