Luann came up and greeted me when I was a new student in junior high. My mother had moved so many times after her divorce that I was traumatized at having to start another school. Luann and her friend/neighbor Joyce Sepeda, were the only kind people I knew in San Jose. I loved hanging out with her sisters and gracious father after school. They kept me happy and safe. I kept in touch with her most of my life, but lost track of her about 20 years ago. I kept searching, and am so very sad to hear she is a victim of COVID. I know she is in Heaven!!
