Obituary of Damon Lee Goodnight Jr.

Damon Lee Goodnight Jr. (DL) passed away March 24, 2021, at his home in Monterey, California.  DL was predeceased by his Mother and Father, Ruby and Damon Goodnight Sr.

DL was born in Salinas, CA on April 18, 1951 and resided in Monterey County most of his life.  DL taught school for 37 years and retired in 2010.  DL graduated from North Salinas High School in 1969, attended Hartnell College and California Baptist University in Riverside, CA, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Education.

DL was a kind, generous and gentle man. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, movies, shopping, fine dining and traveling, were his favorite past times.
