Obituary of Roy Gregory Kesinger

Roy Gregory Kesinger was born on October 4, 1950, in Lockhart, Texas. He was the youngest of six children to Joseph Wayne and Dorothy Louise Kesinger. He attended North Salinas High School, served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was retired from the Carpenters Local Union as a Millwright-Ironworker.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, helping others and taking trips on his Harley. Roy’s most admirable quality in which he may have done most in his life: Showing selflessness. He was always putting others before himself.

Roy was active in church throughout his life, and his loved ones are left with the certainty that he is now in heaven. We celebrate his joyful reunion with his beloved daughter Holly La Nai Kesinger.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Flemming-Kesinger; his daughters Heather Gately (John) and Heidi Kesinger-Brenckle; his step-children Doug Sergent and Bee Parker; his grandchildren Nathan, Alayna, Derek, Eli, Katie, and Wayne-Cooper; his step-grandchildren Paris, Avery and Braeden, great granddaughter Kylyn; his brothers Jim and Jodi Kesinger, aunt Marie Hudson, many cousins and multitude of nieces and nephews.

Roy will be interred next to his daughter Holly by immediate family at The Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held at Healey Mortuary on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00p. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
