Obituary of Mary O. Green

Mary O. Green, 97, passed away peacefully at home Friday, May 7, 2021.  Mary was born August 18, 1923 in Oswalt, OK.  She lived in the Salinas Valley since 1945 and worked as a telephone operator for 37 years.  

Mary was a member of Crossroads Christian Church, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a lifetime member of the Communication Workers of America.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Gail Green, two sons, Rayford and Charles Moore.  She leaves her grandchildren, Jon, Sydney, Melissa and Mary Moore, two great grandchildren, Aurora Moore and Ivy Percival, along with numerous nieces, nephew, step grandchildren, and other loving friends and family.

Mary is preceded in death by two sons, Robert Green and David Moore, her brother, Otis Oswalt, and a sister Vera Mae Shields.

Visitation will be held at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Sailnas on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 1 - 5 PM.

Graveside Services will be held, Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas at 12 Noon.
