Obituary of Jaime Alberto Ybarra

Jaime Alberto Ybarra of California, born March 14, 1979, passed away on July 18, 2021. A High School athlete, Jaime played football and soccer. His love for sports continued into adulthood, playing Fantasy Football and cheering on his favorite teams: the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland A’s. But his favorite pastime was BBQuing with his family.

Jaime was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie Ybarra, and Uncle Jose Magaña. He is survived by his son, Keano Ybarra; father, Eliseo Salgado; siblings Ruben Paredes, Maria Vazquez and Carmen Parra; and cousin Terry Watkins who was like a sister to him, and many other family members.

His services will be Monday, August 2^nd, at Healey Mortuary from 1-5 p.m, and the Rosary will be held from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, August 3^rd, at Our Lady of Refuge Church in Castroville at 10am. Burial will follow at the Castroville Cemetery in Moss Landing. 

After the burial, family and friends are welcome to join the family at Japanese School in Castroville to share memories and have lunch.
