Obituary of Maria Santa Cruz Alarcon

Maria Santa Cruz Alarcon known as “Coto” passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2021 at age 61 in Salinas, California after years of health complications.

Maria was born October 6, 1959 in Mexicali, Baja California. She enjoyed painting, playing on her tablet, shopping online and knitting. She was always willing and happy to lend a helping hand to others. She would open her doors to anyone that needed a place to stay. She loved her grandchildren so much even more then her kids. She was a very social person and always had a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten. 

Maria was survived by many loved ones.  Her husband Manuel Alarcon, three children Manuel Jr., Carmina, and Jonathan.  She leaves nine grandchildren, Many nieces, nephews, brother, sisters, and cousins.

Services will Wednesday, September 8, 9am-1pm at Healey Mortuary.
