Obituary of Sally Garcia Valentin

Sally Garcia Valentin, 86, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Modesto, CA  Sally was born July 31, 1935 in San Jose, CA and lived in Modesto for the past 44 years.  Sally was a former long time resident of Salinas and Gonzales.

Sally is survived by her husband of 66 years, Julio C. Valentin, her daughter, Cindy (Bert) Van Ryn, her sons, Eddie Valentine, Michael (Janet) Valentin, and Richard (Susan) Valentin.  She leaves her sister, Olga Hernandez, and her brothers, Lawrence, Gerard, and Diego James Garcia.  Sally is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Kristi, April, Michael Jr., and Rachel and 3 great grandchildren, Lucas, Liliana, and Colton, along with numerous Nieces, Nephews, other family, and many loving friends.

Visitation will be held at St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Gonzales on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 7 - 9PM with a Rosary to start at 7:00 PM.

Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Church.

Burial will follow in the Gonzales Community Cemetery, Gonzales.
