Obituary of Jesusa Garcia Robles

Jesusa Garcia passed away peacefully in her home in Salinas, California on Saturday, October 9,2021, at the age of 88. She was born May 24, 1933 in Texas.  She was a resident of Salinas for over 45 years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Garcia.

Our mother was a very humble, kind, loving person.  She always helped out those in need. Her crafts were sewing and cooking. She made the best flour tortillas and food ever. She enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren.  

Mom was a long time fanatic of sports. She loved to watch boxing , football and baseball games. We are going to miss hearing her argue with the TV while games were on. 

She was survived by her children, Rene Garcia, Sonia Garcia, Belinda Garcia, and Gabriel Garcia all from Salinas , CA; her son-in-law, George Espinoza; her grandchildren, Isaiah Montes, Mia Montes, Adrian Mendez, Iris Galan Garcia,  Angela Frias, Victor Frias, Vanessa Espinoza, and Bianca Espinoza; as well as her great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. 

A viewing will be held for Jesusa on Tuesday, October 19th from 1-5pm with a Rosary Service at 3pm.  Her Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 20th at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
