Obituary of Rose Bacon Benting

Rose Bacon Benting, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Salinas, CA.  Rose was born in Honolulu, HI May 17, 1932 and lhas lived in Salinas for the past 38 years.

She was a proud homemaker and loved to garden, watch sports on TV, especially Boxing.  Rose loved her family and all the family gatherings.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Alicia (Roger) Nagtalon, Noneta (Melner Cenas, Daisy (Alfredo) Laurente, Guanabel (Eugene) Sevillo, and Junita (Joel) Sibal, her sons, Elton (Gemma) Benting,Primitivo (Myrna) Benting, Reneboy (Lilibeth) Benting, Tilo Benting, and Reynald (Xochtil) Benting.  Also surviving is one sister, 23 Grandchiildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Primitivo Benting on January 27, 2021 this year. She now joins her parents, 4 brothers, and a sister.

Visitation will be held, Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1 - 5PM at the Healey Mortuary.

A Rosary will be said at the Mortuary Chapel, Sunday at 3:00 PM.

Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salinas, CA

Burial will follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Salinas, CA
