Obituary of Christina "Tina" Barnachia

Christina “Tina” Barnachia was born July 7, 1967 to Ida and Nick Losada. Tina passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 54, in her hometown of Salinas, CA. Her battle with cancer showed her strength and courage in facing life challenges with grace and with a smile. Despite any pain, Tina came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end.

For most of her years, Tina worked with Social Security Administration. Tina was a caring mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. Tina loved spending time baking, bedazzling her clothes, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her favorite places were at the casino and bingo hall. Tina had a passionate love affair with sweets. Her smile and humor will be missed dearly.

Tina is survived by her life partner, Andrew; two children who inherited her quick wit, Andrew and Nikki. She was a proud grandma of 7.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Losada, and father, Nick Losada.

As she prepared for this moment, she left a message to all, “Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death but celebrate my life. I love you.”
