Obituary of David Allen Jorgensen

David Allen Jorgensen, 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Salinas on March 23, 2022.  Born December 2, 1944 in San Francisco, CA, David resided in Salinas for the past 70 years.  He was a local Postal Worker and retired after 34 years of service.  David also served as a Marine in the U.S.M.C.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara Jorgensen, two sons, a daughter, 4 Step daughters, and a step son.  He is also survived by his brother, Hugh Jorgensen, a niece, 2 nephews, and 6 grandchildren, with twins on the way.  

A Memorial Service will be be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the Healey Mortuary Chapel, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA.
