Obituary of Patricia Gail Ortiz

Patricia Gail Ortiz of Salinas, Ca. Passed away on Saturday, June 18th 2022, at the age of 75. After several months of declining health. Patricia was born on November 1st, 1946 in Greeley, Colorado to Margarito Jess & Petra Duarte Valenzuela. 

     Patricia moved to Salinas, CA at the age of 5 and has lived here ever since. She worked as an instructional aid for the Alisal unified school district for 20 plus years before retiring to care for her spouse full time. Patricia loved her family immensely, especially the love of her life and husband Johnny, he was her favorite person in the world. Anyone who knew Patricia knew she was an artsy person who loved having family get togethers, being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a great woman. A woman you came to for comfort, she was strong,kind, loyal, loving with a one of a kind personality. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched but her love and memory will last forever.

     She is survived by her daughter’s Patricia, Naomi, Vicki, Priscilla, Jessica, 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny William Ortiz and her son Johnny James Ortiz.
