Adam Glenn

Obituary of Adam R. Glenn

Adam Ray Glenn, 33, of Salinas, CA passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2022.

Adam was born on September 10, 1988 in Mesa, AZ to Kenneth Ray Glenn and Susan Lane. At six months old he, along with his family, moved to Salinas where he lived most of his life. Adam attended school at Mission Park Elementary, Washington Middle, and Salinas High School. After high school, he relocated to Nevada City, CA for 11 years where he started his own family before returning to his hometown of Salinas two years ago.

Adam was a true kid at heart. He always joked and made funny faces to make people laugh. Growing up, he loved playing and watching sports, and was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Adam was an avid skateboarder and could be seen riding in the neighborhood, and doing tricks in the front yard. He loved dirt bikes, enjoyed fixing things, and spent many hours rebuilding GoPed scooters. Adam was a proud member of The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus, Meek-Stewart Chapter #10 and the Matuca Chapter #1849. For many years he was self-employed as a small engine mechanic and most recently worked as a lift operator at United Natural Foods, Inc., a job he loved.

He is survived by his children, Autumn Rose, Thomas Ray, and Lucas Randal; father Kenneth Glenn; mother Susan Lane; brother Travis Barnes, and sisters Candace (David) Avila and Samantha (Isabella) Glenn; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Noah and Sophia Avila, Travis Jr., Candace, and David Barnes, and Kailee Lane; grandparents Verdan and Sylvia Glenn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Adam was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sally Glenn and brother, Michael Lane.

Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA 93905. A family viewing will be from noon – 3 p.m. and services begin at 3 p.m. All are welcome.
