Obituary of Malae Tapuni Taueetia

Malae Taueetia was born in Luma, Manu'a American Samoa in 1937 and passed away Salinas California January 8th 2023.

He moved to the states in 1964 when he married Connie Mae Riddle and Soon after the couple had 9 children. Anna, Robert, Corinna, Stanley, Marco"Deceased", Phillip, Sarah, Timothy, and Carol.

Grandchildren: 18 Great Grandchildren: 12

He retired as a mechanic and was a faithful church attendee @ Valley Baptist Church for the last 15 years.

"Papa T" loved to sing songs and worship to God. He read his bible daily and loved to eat all kinds of great food. He would always say "Praise the Lord".

He was a very strong fighter in the last days of his life and through the sickness and all his health problems he faced, He still worshipped,sang, and danced to the end.

" My time has come now for me to be with the Lord, Please keep the peace until we meet again..." 

Visitation will be held, Thursday January 26, 2023 from 1-5PM at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd.. Salinas

Funeral Services will be held, Friday, January 27, 2023 begining at 9:30 AM at the Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA
