Aurelio was a Miami Dolphins Football fan. He loved to spend time with his family, especially attending barbeques and family gatherings. He also enjoyed being a truck driver. He is survived by son Aurelio and Noel Salas III of Salinas three grandchidren sisters Frances and Leandro Palacios of Texas Nancy Salas of Texas Silvia Salas of Salinas Maria Salas of Salinas Laura and Juan Rendon of Texas brothers Cipriano Salas of Salinas Juan and Olivia Salas of Gonzales Ismael and Maria Salas of Sacramento Carlos Salas of Gonzales Rudy Salas of Santa Cruz Alfredo and Gloria Salas of Gonzales along with numerous nieces and nephews preceded in death by both parents Aurelio and Maria Salas brother Alejandro Salas
