Obituary of Maria Hosaka

Maria Gloria Hernandez Hosaka born on March 27, 1937 in Big Lake, Texas to Estevan and Camila Hernandez. The family moved to California in May of 1946. Settling in Salinas in 1948; she attended Spreckels Elementary and Camp McCullum Elementary, El Sausal Juior High School, and graduated from Salinas Union High School Classs of 1956. She worked at Nestle's for several years and worked and retired from Fremont Elementary School, after 30 years of dedicated service. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a volunteer for the St. Paul De Vincent Food Bank in Salinas. She is survived by Son Mitchell Hosaka and Wendi Lamoure of Gonzales Grandchildren Aiden Hosaka Jade Hosaka both of Gonzales Brothers Manuel Hernandez of Perris Nino and Chila Hernandez of Salinas Chavelo and Gloria Hernandez of Nuevo She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
