Grandpa Chet You always knew what to say to make me smile. Very honored to have met a man like you. Loved all your jokes and loved seeing you smile. Regardless if you were having a bad day, that never stopped you from cracking a joke just to see us smile and laugh. You will always be loved and missed. Rest in peace Grandpa Chet.

Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust so it is with you Uncle Chet. Out lived them all...who would have thought! Now you will all be joined together. I have many childhood memories of you, my Dad, Uncle Larry, Clarence, Jim and Aunt Valda and Epal...and so another era begins. All the love was felt in numerous ways too many to recount.

Grandpa, You were always more than my grandfather, you you were the only father I had. Not to mention the best friend I had. I was your little sidekick,I was with you everywhere you went. You raised me to always be honest and fair. You took me under your wing and were a father to me. That was no easy job, but you did it with love. I was so proud to have the chance to give it all back to you in the end. The time I shared with you will ALWAYS be cherished. You are my hero and I love you and thank you for putting up with me all these years. It was an honor for me to be here with you these past three years. I miss you so much.........Until we meet again. You are in my heart

Daddy
You taught me so much all of my life - how to walk, talk, how to ride a bike, how to drive a car. But most of all how to love and be part of a family. Now your family will go on with out you. You even taught me that. I will miss you so much but I know you were ready and most of all I know that you are safe and happy where you are. I just want to say one more time how very much I love you.
In the end it was just like you said all the family came together and now you can go home and rest. I will be along when its my time. Thank you for being my daddy.

I have so many memories of Chet. Like many kids on Middlefield, I hung out with his grand daughters during my teenage years, and he and his wife Jannyvea treated me (all of us really) like one of the family. Chet was generous of his time and resources to anyone who needed it. I learned so much about horses, taking care of them and even life from him. Chet always had a funny story or joke to share with the whoever was willing to listen. My memories of Chet always bring a smile to my face.
