Obituary of Mario Davila

Mario G. Davila, Sr., 95, longtime resident of Gonzales, passed away on December 29, 2013 in Salinas. He was born on October 9, 1918 in Oxnard, California. Mario worked in agriculture as a labor contractor for over 36 years. He was a parishoner of St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Gonzales. Mario is survived by, daughter, Estella (Paul) Serrano sons, Roy Davila Mike (Lorraine) Ramirez Fred Davila Mario (Verna) Davila, Jr. David Davila Marc (Dora) Davila sister, Rebecca Guzman brother, Carl Davila numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by, his two sons, Edward and Leo Davila A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10am a the St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Gonzales. Inurnment of his ashes will take place at the Gonzales District Cemetery following the Mass.
