Ceferino "Tata" R. Curenio, passed away with his daughters, Lupita and Cindy, by his side, along with all his loved ones. He was born in Texcoco, Mexico and came to the United States at the age of 9. He was an avid San Francisco Giants and 49'ers fan; he enjoyed watching his late night cowboy movies, as well as watching the sport of Boxing. He loved playing dice and enjoyed a game of poker with the family. He always went out of his way to care for his family. He especially enjoyed taking his family out to eat at the Hometown Buffet and the Zacatecano. His life was filled to the fullest and he blessed many people with precious memories. We are all blessed to have had such a wonderful man, who taught us that we can do anything in life even when others doubted us. He lived with his daughter, Lupe for 5 years and enjoyed the country view. He helped make a difference by marching with Cesar Chavez, for it was a strong belief he had that we needed to stand strong. He walked again with his grandchildren at the age of 84, to chant the famous words, "Si se Puede!". He was known by many and loved by all. The family wants to thank his "angels" who cared for him on a daily basis till the end, Isabel, Melissa and Dorothy from Hospice and Priscilla White for all her loving care.
