Obituary of Carmen Perez

Carmen L. M. Perez went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2009. She was 52 years old. Carmen was born in Salinas, where she spent most of her life. She loved her family and her friends. She was a faithful member of Templo Rosa De Saron Church, where she served as Childrens’ Pastor, Choir Director, Deaconess, and Church Secretary; to name a few. She was a graduate of Gonzales High School. Carmen worked for the Alisal Union School District, for over 25 years, most recently in the Special Education Department. She is survived by loving husband of 31 years Daniel Martinez Perez of the family home in Salinas parents Felicitas L. Martinez of Castroville Frank E. Martinez of Salinas sister Felicita "Chay" Dunn of Salinas brothers Frank Martinez, Jr. of Soledad Arnold Martinez of Castroville Andrae' Martinez of Castroville along with numerous nieces and nephews preceded in death by brother, Felix L.
