Obituary of Jerry Simpson

Life Legacy Jerry Simpson, 73, lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away at home on May 19, 2016 in Salinas. He was born on June 24, 1942 in Finley, CA. Jerry had proudly served in the U. S. Army and previously worked with Granite Rock as a mixer driver for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and a major Nascar fan, always pulling for his favorite driver, Matt Kenseth. He could always be found working on old cars and had a love for hot rods. The family would like to especially thank VNA/Hospice nurse, Lennis, for her compassionate care given to our father. Jerry is survived by, his daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law, Jerry Pineda brothers, Gene and Dale Simpson nephew, Roddy Simpson grandchildren, Sammy, Sidney and Devin Gonzalez He is preceded in death by, his wife, Rosemary Simpson sisters, Mary Goodin and Cloe Simpson brothers, Jimmy, Pete and Jack Simpson Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at the Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905.
