Obituary of Gerald Brunner

Gerald D. Brunner, passed on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from a long term illness. He was born in Pella, Wisconsin. Gerald was a Korean War Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved being a Grandpa and Great-Grandpa; sharing his love and laughter with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his leisure time, he enjoyed treasure hunting at flea markets, yard sales or metal detecting. He liked listening to Polka and Country Western music. He also enjoyed attending the Santa Cruz County Fair every year. He appreciated the beauty of the ocean, whether watching a sunset or having a picnic lunch by it. He had a good sense of humor and was a great conversationalist, who made friends easily. Gerald is survived by, his loving wife of 64 years, Yaeko Brunner five children, Theresa (Dan) Concepcion Thomas (Sherrie) Brunner Tammy (Carey) Witham Linda (John) Crabtree and Deborah (David) Smith
