Obituary of Sadie Pervorse

Sadie M. (Laine) Pervorse, at the age of 88, passed away in her home surrounded by family on July 4, 2010 in Salinas, CA. She was born to George Laine and Hilda M. Niemi on March 23, 1922 in Belden, North Dakota. She married Clyde A. Pervorse on May 10, 1941 in Reno, NV. She made her home in Salinas since that date. They were married for 65 years. Sadie was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Unit 31 and the 8/40. She retired as a secretary from the Salinas Union High School District Transportation Department. She was a very proud of her Finnish heritage and shared many stories with her family. She loved to dance and had each one of us as partners. She had great SISU. The family wants to say a special thank-you to Zabrina Hobbs for the special care and love she gave to our Mother and Grandmother.
