Obituary of Clinton Kaleikini
Clinton Kaleikini, 42, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2010, in Pacific Grove. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the youngest son of 12 children to Reginald K. & Elizabeth P. Davis, Sr., had moved to Moloka'i at a young age, was adopted by Clarence & Eunice Kaleikini.
His love for music and entertainment began at age 7, listening, watching and mimicking his Dad, Uncles, and Aunts, singing, dancing and playing their instruments. He moved back to Honolulu, attended Mililani High School, graduating in 1987. He played music with noted artists such as Cyril Pahinui, Lance Kalahiki and Na Kani Wai.
He moved to Gilroy, CA in 2001, and played with a group called "Island Blend". From there he moved further south to Monterey, CA and found his home playing with a group called "Ho'omana". His adoring smile and wonderful voice will be truly missed.
