Obituary of Mary Carrier

Madeleine Carrier, 82, born July 17, 1928, in Phoenix, Ariz., passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving family at her side, into the loving arms of our True Redeemer, Christ Jesus on Sept. 26, 2010, in Redding, CA. Madeleine moved to California when she was a young woman of 17 years old. Taking permament residence in Salinas, CA for the next 60 years. At the age of 78, she then moved to Redding, CA to be near her son and youngest daughter. Madeleine enjoyed cooking, reading and watching her hummingbirds. A Special thanks to Mike Zearley for seeing us all through this; driving 600 miles to assure I could see our mother and especially for never leaving her side through her final hours. Madeleine is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Carrier and her oldest beloved daughter, Debra Margaret Casberg. Madeleine is survived by her 3 children; daughters, "Lynn" Madeleine Waggoner of Salinas, and Paula Henry of Redding; son, Wyman Carrier of Redding; grandson, Glen Earnest Casberg of Rogers, Arkansas.; and four great-grandchildren.
