Obituary of Rodney Hollaway

Rodney F. Hollaway, 90, of Salinas, passed away Ocotober 15, 2010 in Salinas. Born August 3, 1920 in Putman, Texas. He was one of ten children. Dad was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Valley Baptist Church of Salianas, Operating Engineer's Union #3, and of the D.A.V. Chapter #101 of Salinas. He is survived by daughter Joyce (Tim) Hollaway Johnson of Santa Barbara, Barbara (Greg) Gomez of Salinas, daughter-in-law Ellen Hollaway of Salinas, grandchildren David, Jennifer, Keith and Julie, great-granddaughter Kalysta, sister Modine Raymond of Kingman, AZ. Preceded in death by wife Lena Hollaway February 2001, and son Rodney Hollaway, Jr. September 2000.
