Obituary of Sarah Corson

Sarah Rose Corson, 77, of Salinas, passed away October 19, 2010 in Salinas. Sarah had volunteered as a Foster Grandparent with the Monterey County Head Start Program. She enjoyed gardening and watching NASCAR races. She is survived by daughters; Jonette (Alan) Wheelus, Deborah Staley, and Christine Corson Cherry, grandchildren; Jeff Wheelus, Jason (Terra) Wheelus, Melanie Staley (Cameron Eidmann), Erica (James) Mundy, Michael Roel, Spec. Tiffany Burkett, U.S. Army, great-grandchildren, April, Paige, Alexandra, Ashton, Ashlee, Abbygayle, sister Barbara Turner, and brothers Edward and Bill Burns. Preceded in death by her brother Tom Burns At Sarah's request, no services will be held. An Inurnment will take place at El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove.
