Evelyn resided in Monterey County since 1941. She was a member of the Valley Baptist Church of Salinas and of Fresh Fruits & Vegatable Union #78 of Salinas. Evelyn is preceeded in death by husband, James "Red" Norman mother, Bertha Wade brothers Joe W. Tate, Harold L. Tate & Charles A.
