Obituary of Frederick Grube

Fritz Grube, 72, of Salinas passed away on June 1, 2008. He was born in Upper Darby, PA, and grew up in New Jersey before driving across the country at age 17, with his two beagle hounds to settle in San Jose, then in Salinas. Fritz worked as an Ironworker for over 30 years. He was also a cowboy, team roping with his sons, John & Russell, and helped to gather and ship cattle in Nevada and California. surviving Fritz (Grandad) are wife of 48 years Janice Grube of Funeral Home sons John and Linda Grube of Auberry Russell and Mary Grube of Mesa, Arizona sister Gretchen Glick of Salinas brothers Eric Grube of Saratoga Karl Grube of Oakhurst grandchildren Shannon and Michael Garcia Alyssa and Amelia Grube Brooke Chitwood greatgrandchildren Christian Dames, Jeremy Warga, John Michael and Ethan Joseph Chitwood GRAVESIDE MEMORIAL SERVICES June 9, 2008 at 11AM Castroville Public Cemetery located at: 8442 Moss Landing Rd. in Castroville.
