Obituary of Janet Upton

Janet was a lifelong educator and a loving & devoted mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church, and of the California Teacher's Associaiton. She was also an active volunteer of Dorothy's Place and the I-HELP Program. preceded in death by sons Zachary & Rhett Upton parents Ethel & Truman Tollefson She is survived by daughter Robynn Upton of Salinas sons Duque Upton of Salinas Courtney (Nancy) Upton of Portland, Oregon brothers Jerry (Judy) Tollefson of Salinas David (Pat) Tollefson of Sacramento grandchildren Cazzeri,Cammi, Chance, Raif and Asher great granddaughter Ramona Maritnez-Upton A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 2:30 P.M. at Good Shepard Lutheran Church - Fellowship Hall located at: 580 Larkin Street in Salinas. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Salinas, California.
